Hôm nay, ngày 15 tháng 9 năm 2026, Liên Hội Người Việt Canada đã nhận được thư phúc đáp từ Văn phòng Thủ tướng Canada, Right Honourable Mark Carney, xác nhận đã nhận được thư của Liên Hội gửi ngày 11 tháng 9 năm 2026 liên quan đến nhân quyền và tự do tại Việt Nam.

Trong thư, Văn phòng Thủ tướng ghi nhận rằng những ý kiến của Liên Hội, được trình bày với tư cách Chủ tịch Liên Hội Người Việt Canada, đã được đọc và xem xét cẩn thận.
Đặc biệt, Văn phòng Thủ tướng cho biết thư của Liên Hội đã được chuyển đến Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Canada, Honourable Anita Anand, để được thông tin và xem xét.
Đây là sự ghi nhận chính thức đối với tiếng nói của cộng đồng người Việt Canada trong việc quan tâm và lên tiếng cho nhân quyền, tự do và các quyền căn bản của người dân Việt Nam.
Liên Hội Người Việt Canada sẽ tiếp tục làm việc và lên tiếng một cách ôn hòa, trách nhiệm và xây dựng với Chính phủ Canada, cùng các cơ quan hữu quan, vì một Việt Nam tự do, dân chủ và tôn trọng nhân quyền.

VIETNAMESE CANADIAN FEDERATION RECEIVES A RESPONSE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA
Today, September 15, 2026, the Vietnamese Canadian Federation received a response from the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honourable Mark Carney, acknowledging receipt of the Federation’s correspondence dated September 11, 2026, concerning human rights and freedoms in Vietnam.
The Office of the Prime Minister noted that the concerns and remarks presented by the Vietnamese Canadian Federation, through its President, have been carefully read and considered.
Importantly, the Office of the Prime Minister also advised that our correspondence has been forwarded to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Anita Anand, for her information and consideration.
This official acknowledgment represents an important recognition of the voice of the Vietnamese Canadian community in raising concerns regarding human rights, freedom, and fundamental rights in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese Canadian Federation will continue to engage with the Government of Canada and relevant authorities in a peaceful, responsible, and constructive manner in support of a Vietnam that respects freedom, democracy, and human rights.
