On Saturday night, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzō Abe and his wife, Akie Abe, at Mar-a-Lago for dinner.  Melania wore a sleeveless black dress with a low-dipping back and a layer of lace on top.

She also wore black patent leather stiletto pumps with red soles — the telltale signature of shoe designer Christian Louboutin. The president wore a dark suit and a bright blue tie with white polka dots.

This look followed the $4,000 white Calvin Klein sheath that Melania wore earlier in the day on a tour of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Florida, with Akie Abe.

Calvin Klein was one of the few American designers who responded with a resounding yes to dressing the First Lady. Melania paired the cashmere dress with nude patent leather flats, minimizing her height and making for easier walking as she toured the 16-acre gardens.Like the First Ladies before her, every fashion move from Melania Trump is history in the making. From the former model’s white off-the-shoulder gown that she co-designed with Hervé Pierre to the hot-pink Dior dress she stepped out in for a charity event, all eyes are on Melania.
Check out all of her looks in our First Lady photo gallery:

The Double V-neck felted lambswool sweater in light blue comes from Victoria Beckham and retails for $1,100. She accessorized with Chanel’s classic quilted flap bag in white ($4,495) and matching “So Kate” Christian Louboutin pumps ($695). (Photo: AP) </div>

For the trip from Andrews Air Force Base in Md. to Palm Beach, Fla., Melania Trump dressed in a fashionable yet comfortable ensemble from Michael Kors. The FLOTUS paired white wide-legged pants with a black blouse and matching black wool coat that she casually draped over her shoulders. When previously asked about dressing the first lady, <a rel=
