Actualizaciones del horario del laboratorio del Centro de Salud del Valle (VHC):Los horarios del laboratorio de VASC son actualmente variables cada semana debido a limitaciones temporales de personal. Upcoming Community Meeting
Please join us at a community meeting this Saturday, August 16, to discuss the impacts of H.R. 1 on federal, state, and local governments.
Location: County Government Center at 70 W. Hedding Street, San José
Time: 10 am to 1 pm.
The passage of H.R. 1 will close health clinics, will cause layoffs of health service providers, will inundate all our emergency departments as the last resort of care. The closure of trauma centers and overwhelmed emergency departments will impact care for everyone. The County continues to look into all possible actions to prevent the closure and reduction of essential services like emergency room and trauma care, mental health care, burn and cancer treatment—all services that would be affected by the $1 billion deficit the County is facing.
Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren and Congressman Sam Liccardo as well as our state and local elected officials will be at the meeting to share their perspectives and inspire discussion of potential actions and future collaborations to positively affect change for all members of our community.
