Rep. Ro Khanna to host roundtable with press on Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and rising gas prices in the Bay Area
Santa Clara, CA – Monday, March 14th at 3:30pm PT, Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) will hold a roundtable to answer questions from the media on his efforts in Congress to respond to Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine and to tackle rising gas prices. Questions on other topics are also welcome.
In response to Putin’s invasion, Rep. Khanna introduced a bipartisan bill that would ban oil imports from Russia and encourage a massive investment in renewable energy to bring down the cost of gas long-term. To help stabilize gas prices now, he called on President Biden to release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
